Initial Fees:
$900.00+GST (if in Canada), or US$910.00 (up to 5 international classes, if outside Canada)
* The Initial fees include legal fees for a word mark search for identical trademark
in the Canadian government trademark database, processing and filing each
application, the government filing fee for each application and forwarding the
initial government proof sheet. After the filing, additional fees will be charged on an hourly basis.
* Please remember, we do not charged any fees to monitor the application progress, therefore it is your responsibility to keep in contact with your lawyer/agent every six months to make sure that no deadline is missed. Canadian Intellectual Property Office does not send out correspondence in registered or traceable mail, and sometimes the letters may get lost. We acannot be held responsible in such cases.
* If our search indicates that your trademark is not suitable for registration, you will only
be charged $115.00 plus GST for the trademark search and our opinion if inside Canada or US$100.00 if outside Canada. The rest of the money will
be returned to you.
